So much better than having a road named after you…

Just read in GALLEYCAT that today Sunday August 18 the city of Portsmouth – famous for its naval base – is going to honour author Neil Gaiman by naming a road after his latest novel. How cool is that – especially as his most recent publication has a delicious title. From now on, the bus lane, west of Canoe Lake in Portsmouth, will be known as The Ocean at the End of the Lane. The only pity is that it sounds as though no one lives there.
