Did you you know that the National Library of Norway has promised to hold onto its books…

…even though they are going to digitize all their titles over the next six years. This means it will be possible for everything in their possession and out of copyright to be accessed by anyone with a computer. The authorities have said that they will continue to encourage and promote the library as a physical meeting place. Can’t help feeling that the very fact that they feel the need to say that means they can see it becoming an issue…
