This short film made by The Imperial War Museum in London explores what really happened in the trenches in the first Christmas of World War I and why it was useful to turn it into a myth that could be brushed aside and mis-remembered.
In the words of murdered MP Jo Cox, we are far more united and have far more in common with each other than things that divide us.
