Did you know that book covers can come to life?

Well, that’s probably not technically accurate. I think the correct phrase is:

featured interactive augmented reality experiences

All I know is that if you use the Blippar smartphone application on Dead Man’s Time the latest novel from bestselling crime author Peter James,  a dramatic  version of the cover will rev into action and the reader will be able to access an exclusive interview with the author. Plus they can get the low down on the Brighton criminal underworld that James writes about. What happens is that you wave your smart phone over the cover and read and use the stuff that pops into life and is invisible to the rest of the world.Apparently, you can use Blippar on the Sunday Times sports pages and Kit Kat advertising posters.

I feel as though I have just been told about a parallel universe…
