Safari Friday searching the web for writers and readers — check if your photographs have been used without your permission

I can’t remember how I came across this website but it’s full of treasures and cake. Kevin & Amanda is a blog run by married couple Kevin and Amanda for over 11 years. It’s got a huge following and has a global ranking of 32,400 on the Alexa scale. (I’ve written about this web traffic checker before and you can find it here.)
Kevin and Amanda cover crafts – including how to make a ruffled camera strap slipcover: they don’t explain why you’d need to cover a camera strap and I haven’t been able to work it out. They also include stuff about their diets, their dogs and their cooking.

But why I wanted to mention it is because they have free fonts, including a wealth of handwriting ones, and tutorials on blog design, photography and photoshop. I particularly liked the step by step guide to checking if your photographs has been used on another website without your permission. It’s called a reverse image search and you can also use it to:

• To find the original source of a popular photo on another website.

• To check a photo you’ve saved on your computer and you can’t remember where it came from.
