for writers and readers….

Creative writing ebook

I’m very excited about the cover. I think the designer did a brilliant job.

I’m very excited that it will be out in a couple of weeks – publication date is early November

And I’m quite pleased I managed to set up a Back to Creative Writing Facebook page.

I found a brilliant 2010 video that showed how to add all kinds of  whistles and bangs. It basically involved downloading the Static FBML app (no, me neither), and adding a bit of computer code. They made it sound so easy.
The hard part was finding static-thingy (technical term) and I eventually discovered that it had been superseded by another format in 2011. So I searched for that and by now I was determined to have a welcome page, free chapters, bright lights and baubles…

The new format was also elusive. I finally discovered a four month old message saying it was no more. What replaced it cost money and was clearly not intended as an easy -d-i-y set up for an amateur like me.

My fault. Facebook changes as often as the seasons, it was foolish of me to think that a three year old post was still relevant.

So no bright lights and baubles, no welcome mat even. Just a plain old facebook page, but I do hope you’ll come over and ‘like’ it. You can do that by clicking HERE

Ah, no. It’s my foolhardy belief that if I see a video on Youtube I can do it….everything about the ebook (apart from the facebook page) is being done by professionals!

Good luck. I love the cover. I’m really into minimalism. Does what it says on the tin makes clear what the tin contains. Nice one. Well done.

Thank you – when I talked to the designer I wasn’t sure what I wanted, but I was very sure what I didn’t want. He did the rest.
