Brighton Writing Weekend Sitcom for TV and Radio

laughing is magicThere’s a two day weekend course running in Brighton very soon that I  recommend wholeheartedly.

Sue Teddern has an impressive track record in both television and radio scriptwriting. Among her many TV credits is Birds of a Feather where she was a member of the writing team. Anyone who remembers the 1990s will know that it is a sitcom about two sisters surviving in Essex as their husbands serve a prison term for armed robbery. It ran for nine years and was sold to 30 countries.
Sue has also written for Sister Francis (with Jo Brand), Bosom Pals and My Family. Over Saturday November 9th and Sunday November 10th 2013 she is joining forces with Harry Venning of Radio 4’s Clare in the Community . Series 8 is being broadcast on Thursday evenings right now and if you haven’t heard it yet listen out at 6.30pm. You can catch up on Iplayer if you miss it.
What’s on offer is a brilliant weekend of sitcom writing in Brighton with two professional practitioners – insiders who know the business as well as knowing how to write. The cost is £85 and that includes meals and refreshments as well as tuition and advice. Find out more at http://www.skribta.com or call 01273 880625.
