News about writerly things delivered to your inbox every day – Safari Friday searching the web for writers and readers

blue eye

GALLEYCAT covers everything a writer or a reader might be remotely interested in: there’s publishing news with an American slant but with a decent international perspective, writers resources which at the moment include 20 authors sharing tips about writing a love scene, jobs (US),  deals, bookselling and reviews.

It’s serious stuff delivered with a light touch – there are plenty of graphics, cartoons and videos to break up the text like this one that explains the debate surrounding the use of the Oxford comma.

Safari = Swahili for long journey.I am on the look out for anything accessible from a keyboard that educates, entertains, intrigues, raises a smile. Anything that helps a reader get through the day or a writer the next draft. Let me know if you write a website that you’d like featured or discover something that really should be shared.
