BRIDGET WHELAN writer

for writers and readers….

I don’t think I’ve mentioned this before…

smile…but I have a facebook page dedicated to writing. I use it for quick bits of information that seem funny or useful or both. I don’t put the same material on facebook as I do on this blog because there doesn’t seem much point in repeating myself (although I bet my family would argue that’s never stopped me in the past).
Recent posts include:
A link to 10 tips on writing from the late great P.D.James
A request from Paragraph Planet for more Christmas-y submissions
A paragraph written by a former student that’s just been published on Paragraph Planet. Yay!
A Ghost story competition
A cartoon about Edgar Allen Poe that made me laugh.

dancing for joyWhy am I telling you about it now…
because I would love you to come over and visit.
because the inner nerd in me would like to get up to 200 “likes”. It is now at 193 so, not that far to go.
because when I do get to 200 (or more) I will do a completely free no-cost-involved giveaway. A paperback copy of Back to Creative Writing School could be yours (sorry, UK addresses only). It might even arrive before Christmas and solve a present-buying problem because you do know someone, don’t you, wh0 has always wanted to write…

Glad you mentioned it Bridget. I didn’t know & will go over & like it. In fact I’m almost at the 200 mark myself, so if you felt like liking me too , that would be great. (apologies if you already have) Facebook.com/akandrewwriter

      No, I don’t think I have – yet I would count myself a dedicated
follower of your excellent blog. I’m going to pop along to your facebook page now.
