In 1966 Cohen published Parasites of Heaven, a book of poems. Both Beautiful Losers and Parasites of Heaven received mixed reviews and sold few copies
1897 Yeats and Ernest Rhys co-founded the Rhymers’ Club, a group of London-based poets who met regularly in a Fleet Street tavern to recite their verse.
Thanks Ann – think the Fleet Street tavern was The Cheshire Cheee which is stil there (with scorch marks from the great fire of London visable on its beams…or so they say.)
