Carried in Waves is a short story competition for radio organised by University College Cork. The brief is wide: the story can be on any subject, written in any style, by a writer of any age and of any nationality, living anywhere in the world. It does have to to be in English though and no longer than 3,000 words.

The entry fee for one story is ten euro
Deadline: September 30
A shortlist of forty stories will be recorded for broadcast and performed by one actor who will be chosen from a panel of six which will represent all voices and ages. Copyright remains the property of the writer.
