sci fiI think that science fiction, even the corniest of it, even the most outlandish of it, no matter how badly it’s written, has a distinct therapeutic value because all of it has as its primary postulate that the world does change.

    I’m in complete agreement with this quote – I think sci-fi fans tend to be very existentially aware people who like the comfort of fantasy to mix with real-life possibility.

      Except the fantasy isn’t always comforting….it takes us to places which can be pretty uncomfortable indeed….
