excitement

That means they are inviting novelists to submit a synopsis and the first three chapters according to genre. No need to send a covering letter, but you can reveal a bit about yourself in the email. Send it with attachments to openhouse@unitedagents.co.uk   Deadline 6pm on the day (UK time)

Monday August 1st Children and YA books

Monday August 8th Crime and Thrillers

Monday August 15th Commerical Fiction

Monday August 22nd  Literary Fiction

Find out more HERE

Hate the thought of writing a synopsis? Join the club. I have yet to meet a writer who actually enjoys it. Here’s a 2014 post that sets out  10 rules that should help you compose something that is a cross between a job application and a seduction.

Good Luck!
