Compare it with other breakfasts you’ve known: childhood breakfasts, breakfasts with lovers, breakfasts with children, breakfasts in greasy spoon cafes, in chic coffee houses, hung over breakfasts, breakfasts that start with a shot of alcohol, sleep raddled breakfasts, breakfast when you wake up and know you could rule the world, breakfasts in hospitals, hostels, hotels, in the homes of friends, breakfasts when you have all the time in the world, breakfasts on the run, breakfasts that are a swill of mouthwash and a smear of toothpaste…

might try this little exercise with our book club
Sure it will be popular – especially if you bring croissants!
Interesting topic…something we do everyday, but I’ve never thought to write about. May need to do today…lol…have a lovely peach cobbler bubbling in the oven right now for breakfast. 🙂
Peach cobbler for breakfast – that puts a pallid slice of toast and a scraping of lo-fat spread to shame. Tell me you washed it down with a cup of freshly ground Ethiopian coffee. Or no, how about staying with a the peach theme and you had a chilled Bellini instead….(do cocktails count as one of your five a day?)
