You just don’t get it, do you?
Stephen King – who only joined twitter at the beginning of December – used this new method of chatting with fans to discuss cliches in movies. He suggests that the most common phrase is either “You look like shit” or “You need to get some sleep.” Twitter December 19th.
Others have argued in favour of “I’ve got a bad feeling about this”, “Let’s get out of here” or “How can you say that?”
But here’s eight minutes to prove that “You don’t get it, do you?” just has to be the winner…probably. Listen out for it – and any of the others – next time you’re watching a movie . Or perhaps you can think of another phrase that wins hands down.
