Write Comedy for the BBC
The Comedy Script Room at the BBC is open for unsolicited manuscripts but only to April 1st. Click here for details on how to submit and comedy resources (such as scripts of Outnumbered and Mrs Brown’s Boys)
Newsjack – the Radio 4 Extra topical news sketch show – is looking for writers to submit sketches and one-liners for the series.
Deadlines:
Sketches: 12.00pm Mondays (last submission Monday 30 March)
One-Liners: 12.00pm Tuesdays (last submission Tuesday 31 March)

Bridget, this is a wonderful opportunity. Not for me of course – British humor is not one of my strength, here to the west. But I do spend a lot of time laughing along through public television!

I feel the same, it’s not an opportunity I could grab but I do appreciate those who can write laughter.
