ABOVE THE STRANDLINE
An off-grid weekend writing retreat on Isle Martin, a community-owned island off the north-west coast of Scotland. Here you will have the chance to leave mainland life behind and concentrate on writing for a few precious days. The weekend will feature a mix of tutored workshops and free writing time. You will also have the option of a short 1-to-1 mentoring session.
The amenities are simple, the island beautiful, the welcome warm. There is no electricity, so leave your laptops and tablets behind and bring pens and paper. There is no hot running water so bring a flannel for a wash-down. There are, however, flushing toilets, a warming fire, and delicious meals cooked on the island using local produce.
