However, if you just cut and paste into your own blog or whatever and pass it off as your own then there's a very good chance I will find out. Don't fall into the trap of thinking the internet is so vast and expanding so fast (note the fancy internal rhyme)] that no one will know.

In Australia, we have a somewhat less kind saying that offers a small twist on this idea –
“Politics is showbusinness for ugly people.”
Like it! I suppose you could say that writing is show businness for people who don’t want to show their faces – but that’s becoming less and less true as publishers expect authors to take on the full promotional role. And, of course, indy novelists have to do it for themselves…
